ABOUT URANUS

Tehran Uranus Paint Manufacturing company was established in 1979 with limited responsibility and activity in manufacturing decorative paints. This unit activity based on producing industrial paint and plastisols (pvc composites) in 1994 with high technical and professional potentiality.

Uranus company by using advanced instruments , equipment and technology corresponding to standard methods,knowledge and experience of experts exhibited it ́s products to markets .Quality control laboratory (QC) and research development unit (R&D)equipped with advanced instuments and implement served for manufacturing the best products and solving difficulties of consumers ,perfectly .Meanwhile Uranus laboratory was selected from standards institute as independent lab and management ́s company as one of the main mambers for preparation and written new standards of Paint and Resin Communication with science and technical centers presenting in training terms and precipitating several training termsfor customers ,to develop knowledge and paints technology ,always is attended.This unit uses international standards such as DIN ,ISO,ASTM, . . . for improving quality ,efficiency development and independency to provide consumer requirements.

APPLICATION OF IRAN STANDARDS MARK

After iran ́s revolution ,Uranus was one of the first paint companies that was successful in receiving application of iran standard mark and now have native standard certifications include:Plastic paint (No.577), gloss alkyd paint (No 493), matt alkyd paint (No 3428), stoving paint basedon alkyd amine resins (No 3427) and anti corrosive paint (No 3426)

R&D UNIT

Corresponding to justificaition No.805297of industrial ministry ,Uranus instituted R&D unit.Uranus is the first plastisol producers in iran .Plastisols areappliedin different automotive industries, for example automotive underbody coating ,sealer,filter gum,and air filter foam.AlreadyUranus experts,with continuum research and conference to masters and material importers have been successful to manufacture water-base paints (matt, golss, semi golss, primer, puttyand facade)and air dryingunder-body coatings. Other cases is investigating.
